Financial Education in the Young Population: A Revision and Bibliometric Analysis

La Educación Financiera es un tema que ha tomado alta relevancia en la actualidad, en gran parte gracias a que permite a las personas adquirir habilidades y conocimientos necesarios para tomar decisiones financieras acertadas, además de generar una habilidad analítica que conduce a elegir de manera correcta los productos y servicios financieros presentes en el mercado. Con este artículo de revisión bibliográfica, se pretende abarcar el tema de Educación Financiera en los jóvenes, mediante una revisión de literatura relacionada con la identificación de autores, publicaciones, revistas, países y organizaciones que más aportan al campo. Para ello, se realizaron consultas en las bases de datos Web of Science (WoS) y Scopus; adicional a esto, mediante el uso de herramientas bibliométricas tales como R y Bibliometrix, se realizó un análisis bibliométrico, un análisis de red y finalmente una identificación de las perspectivas de investigación relacionadas con el tema. Dentro de los hallazgos más relevantes, se pudo evidenciar el liderazgo de Estados Unidos frente al tema, acumulando el 45 % de la producción total sobre el área de estudio, además de posicionarse como referente mundial en cuanto a revistas, autores y organizaciones que más aportan al campo de investigación. Al final, se presenta una agenda para futuros estudios.
